Meet the Founder & Host
Rashmi Singhania
Some people collect recipes.
Rashmi Singhania collects stories.
For over two decades, her career took her across countries, cultures and dining tables. Business meetings became opportunities to discover hidden neighbourhood cafés, family-run kitchens and local food traditions. She realised that the meals she remembered most were never the ones served in the finest restaurants — they were the ones where strangers became friends, conversations lingered long after dessert, and every dish carried a story.
When Rashmi moved to Dubai, she noticed that while the city offered countless restaurants, there were very few places where people could slow down, share a table with like-minded guests and experience food as a journey rather than simply a meal.
That thought became The R Table.
Hosted in her home, The R Table is an intimate supper club where just ten guests gather around one table to embark on a carefully curated culinary journey. Every experience is designed around a theme — a railway adventure across India, forgotten street food traditions, regional celebrations or stories inspired by travel and culture.
Each menu is crafted chapter by chapter. Every course has a destination. Every plate has a purpose. Every detail — from the music and table setting to the menu and storytelling — is thoughtfully curated to transport guests beyond the dining room.
For Rashmi, hospitality is not about serving food; it is about creating moments people carry with them long after the evening ends.
She believes that the finest luxury is not found in extravagance but in thoughtful details, meaningful conversations and the warmth of genuine human connection.
Today, The R Table is more than a supper club. It is a community of curious travellers, passionate food lovers and storytellers who believe that every unforgettable journey begins with a single invitation to the table.
Welcome to The R Table.
A place where every seat has a story, every meal becomes a journey, and every guest leaves with a memory.
